The world’s first AI-powered Wi-Fi router has been launched. This smart router can automatically stabilize your internet connection, ensuring that your Wi-Fi speed stays smooth and consistent without sudden drops or interruptions.
Many people often face problems with slow or unstable Wi-Fi connections. Some even try to fix the issue manually, but that won’t be needed anymore. ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched the world’s first AI-powered Wi-Fi router, named ROG Rapture GT-BE19000A.
It was first showcased at CES 2025 and is specially designed for gaming, streaming, and smart homes. This router not only offers fast internet speed but also automatically stabilizes the signal to ensure smooth performance. Let’s take a look at the main features and advantages of this new AI Wi-Fi router.
What features does the AI router have?
According to the Asus Pressroom report, this AI Wi-Fi router comes with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) — the first router in the world to have this feature. It is powered by a quad-core CPU, along with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB of storage, allowing it to handle heavy tasks with ease.
The router can even run Docker apps directly, making it highly versatile. Everything can be managed from one place, including blocking ads, securing web browsing, and connecting smart devices making it both powerful and user-friendly.

A feature called WiFi Insight
This router includes a special feature called WiFi Insight, which checks both WiFi and non-WiFi channels and provides a detailed network health report. It automatically makes changes to keep the connection stable and smooth.
The AI Game Boost feature understands traffic, identifies devices, and prioritizes data for better performance. In ASUS’s internal tests, it helped reduce latency by up to 34%.
It supports tri-band WiFi 7 with speeds of up to 19Gbps. The router also includes two 10G Ethernet ports and four 2.5G ports, offering a total wired capacity of 31Gbps and 20Gbps link aggregation for ultra-fast connectivity.
The AI router also has these amazing features
For cooling, this router comes with a 30% thicker aluminum plate and a nano-carbon coating, which helps reduce heat by up to 18%. It also includes an energy-saving mode to use less electricity.
The router has AiProtection for strong security and a Guest Network Pro feature that allows users to create up to five SSIDs, each with its own permissions and bandwidth settings.
Weighing around 2 kilograms, ASUS claims this AI-powered router is ideal for gamers, streamers, and smart home users, offering both performance and reliability.
